A network for students interested in evidence-based health care

Goda Zerlauskaite

My name is Goda Zerlauskaite, and I am a final year student paramedic at Oxford Brookes University. Throughout my three year degree, I have been particularly interested in the health effects of working a shift work pattern as a paramedic. This even led me to complete a personal trainer qualification to see how I can help my peers and future colleagues combat some of the issues faced whilst working shifts. By doing this dissertation, I have gained further insight into the ways that wellbeing can be improved within the profession, and would like to contribute to the research field by completing some studies myself in the future.
