A network for students interested in evidence-based health care

Elina, Alain, Alen, Patrick and Jeremy are five young Swiss citizens aged between 22 and 27 years old and coming from the French or the German speaking part of Switzerland. Elina, Alen, Patrick and Jeremy are finishing Medical school while Alain has already started working as an internist. In the future, they would like to work in the field of emergency medicine, radiology or infectious diseases and at the same time be active in clinical research, medical education or on hospital boards, always following the latest evidence-based practice.

Swiss students discuss what Cochrane is and what the Cochrane logo represents. They also talk about their experiences of the Cochrane Colloquium held in Vienna 2015 (which was themed around ‘filtering the information overload for better decisions’) and the role of Universities Allied for Essential Medicines at the Colloquium.
